Betsy Husband
My mother always told me, "You should be a writer." I never took her seriously.
But there's no better way to share the wonders of travel. With writing and photography I can stimulate people to want to travel, and when I know I will be writing, it forces me to pay closer attention to where I am. That attention to detail makes me appreciate where I am even more.
After years of working in Physical Therapy and raising a family I returned to school for a degree in Journalism. I now have the time to travel, take pictures, and write to my heart's content.
My articles can be found in Skywest Magazine, The Eureka Reporter, and Tasmania 40 South. I am also a contributing writer on Vagablond.com. I love good food and wine and much of my writing includes favorite restaurants. My trips to China, Botswana, South Africa, and Mexico were fabulous but I'm totally in love with traveling throughout the United States.
I cringe when I admit that I've turned from backpacker to RVer, but that's what happens when you get soft. I've tasted the sweet life and I love it.
You can follow my travels on my blog: http://betsyhusband.blogspot.com
